Broncos Badminton Growth Throughout the Season

The Broncos Badminton program has traveled to Edmonton twice this season and after each trip, the program has seen positive growth. On February 6, the Broncos arrived at NAIT with their full roster ready to compete against some of the ACAC's top Badminton student-athletes and they did not disappoint.

Priyanna Ramdhani (Georgetown, Guyana) continued to impress in her pursuit of the top of the ACAC Women's Singles Badminton podium with a 3rd place finish in the event before pairing up with Abigail Taylor (Belmont, ON) to pull in the Broncos second Bronze Medal finish of the weekend in the Women's Doubles Events. Taylor also finished in 6th place in the Women's Singles event.

The Men's Badminton student-athletes competed hard with Tye Belanger (Mooretown, ON) finishing as the top Broncos competitor with an 8th place finish in the Men's Singles events. Broncos teammates Keith Huesby (Edmonton, AB) and Brayden Berdahl (Hesketh, AB) rounded out the Broncos Men's Singles competitors with 12th and 14th place finishes respectively.

You can catch the Broncos Badminton team competing next on their own home court as Olds College and Broncos Athletics will be hosting the 2022 ACAC Badminton Championships at the Ralph Klein Centre on Olds College's campus on March 5-6, 2022.
