BASKETBALL:

The 3rd season of Club basketball was completed in 2009! In the first years there was a total of 21 athletes and last season Club has grown to 86 athletes and the hosting of a 44 team tournament. Junior Broncos club basketball is an opportunity for junior high school and high school aged players to develop their skills. We had players from 16 communities make up our 8 teams this past season.   The focus is for our players to develop individual skills and compete in weekend tournaments during April-June. The Junior Broncos Program exposes our athletes to tournaments and levels that they would not normally see in their high school seasons. They are consistently competing in 100 plus team tournaments where they are challenged within their own age levels or pushed to higher levels.

The teams will be coached by current Olds College coaches and athletes as well as local area coaches.
